M3, Globular Cluster in Canes Venatici

Description: M3 is a large cluster approximately 34,000 light years away and covers around 16 arc-min. of the sky.  The FOV of this image 12 x 18 arc-min., so the entire extent of the cluster is not visible in this frame.
  
Exposure Data: 5/26/2003.  RGB: 3x10m, 3x10m, 3x10m. RGB binned 1x1. 
-10C, 0.49 arc-sec./pixel.
 
Processing: Acquired via Sequencer in Maxim, reduced and aligned in Mira. median combine,  RGB combine in Maxim. RGB assembled with curves, levels and other adjustments in Photoshop.
 
Optical System: 12.5 Ritchey-Chretien @ F/9, ST-10XME NABG/CFW-8A CCD camera, Paramount ME.  AO-7 guided.
 
Comments: Raw FWHM was 2.1 arc-sec.
