Exposure Data: 4/5/2002.  18 x 10m Luminance. -10C, 1.0 arc-sec./pixel.
Processing: Acquired via script with Maxim, reduced, aligned and combined in Mira, 3 iterations in CCDSharp, curves and levels in Photoshop.
Optical System: 10 Ritchey-Chretien @ F/7.2, ST-8E NABG/CFW-8A CCD camera, STV/FSQ-106, AP900GTO mount.
Comments: Seeing was 3.8 arc-sec. This image shows a bridge between the quasar and the galaxy, which have very different red shifts. See this link for heavier processing of the image and more detailed information on the implications.
