NGC6946 in Cygnus

Description: This showy spiral galaxy is relatively nearby at a distance of 10 million ly. 
Exposure Data: 6/17/2004.  LRGB: 50x3m, 12x3m, 12x3m, 12x3m, RGB 2x2. -20C, 0.58 arc-sec./pixel.
Processing: Automatically acquired via Sequencer and CCDSoft, reduced and aligned in Mira,  combined in Sigma, RGB combined in Maxim, L 50 iterations RL deconvolution, LLRGB assembly, curves, levels, mild USM other processing in Photoshop.
Optical System: 14.5 Ritchey-Chretien RCOS Truss @ F/6.4, ST-10XME NABG CCD camera, FLI CFW-2 filter wheel, Paramount ME. AstroDon filters with luminance filter. Unguided and dithered 4 arc-sec.
Comments: Average seeing was 2.0 arc-sec., deconvolved to 1.5 arc-sec.
